Queens of the Stamp Age Annual Weekend Training Part 1

So, this past Friday and Saturday was the annual Queens of the Stamp Age group training offered by our fabulous, fearless leader, Brandi Barnard. She is just the best!

It all started Friday evening with a totally awesome Make & Take night. We got to make 24 totally awesome, cards! There were 6 designers who each provided 4 cards. There were about 50 of us in attendance. It was so much fun to see old friends, and make new ones! So lets start with 2 of my best friends, who were also designers for this fun night.

First up are cards from my great upline, Sherri. The first stamp she featured is A Happy Heart from the Holiday Mini.

Next she featured Halloween Frights also from the Holiday Mini.

Next up are 4 cards from my good friend Ashley. She featured Party Hearty, which just happens to be on sale this month at 20% off!

I am so sorry, I just realized my second Party Hearty card got left at my parents home! I was showing them off, and it apparently didn't make it back into my bag. Bummer. But, I bet you can see it on Ashley's Blog (which is fantastic by the way).

I want to show you one more card. This card was one of the swaps I got. It was made by Chirsty Casteel. I show you because it was made using the featured stamp set from this months Card Kit of the Month: Snow Swirled. There is still time to order this kit, so get it now while I have the set discounted!

I will post more of the cards we made at the M&T night tomorrow, and soon I will share pictures of the business portion of the meeting too!
If you are interested in attending this fun event next year, ask me about joining our group!

Hey Deborah...I was going to ask you if you got your blue card from Ashley because I ended up with two, so let me know and I can send it to you. :)

It was good to see you this weekend!

You are so cute. Thanks for your nice comments! I love that you started a color inspiration as well. Maybe I'll try to play if I get a second. :) You're awesome!
