Customer & Hostess VIP Event

We had so much fun on Saturday! It was my 2nd Customer & Hostess Appreciation VIP event. This is definitely something we well be doing every year! All my ordering customers and hostesses over the last year were sent a special card (see this post). This event was a special free event.

As guests arrived, they were given their packet. Their packet included a new Decor' Elements Brochure (including phase 2), The new Holiday Mini, and a Catalog sampler. Then, they got their projects, 2-4 based on what they did during the past year.

Everyone got to make these two projects:
3x6 Inspired By Nature card and envelope

and an adorable Eastern Blooms 3x3 Mini Scrapbook gift album

Then Hostesses were also given this really cute Bookmark to make:

Last Years Club Members also got to make this adorable Scrapbook page

Everyone got to use the new Big Shot. There were lots of neat samples out to see, including some of my upcoming classes. Everyone received a door prize, some of which were: Stampin' Scrub, Decor' Elements, Ribbon Keepers storage, Hostess Sets, Paper packets, Level 3 Simply Scrapping kit, Stampin' Around wheel with uninked cartridge and a wheel, Rub-ons, and more! PLUS everyone got a special goodie bag to take home! I'll have to take a picture and post it laterOne of my guests, Loretta, who started out as a club member, then hostess, then joined my team this year so she received a special gift too. There was fun mini Cheesecakes and bottled water with cute stamped tags holding lemonade packets.

My 3, beautiful children helped at this event too. They were each assigned a project station to work at. They were there to help attendees know how to make the project and give them tips. The kids had so much fun helping! See, even a child can be a demonstrator!

This morning was so much fun! We had 8 ladies in attendance, and all said they were going to be sure they were on the "list" to come next year. Those who were just customers last year are going to be hostesses and or club members this year so they get to make the other fun projects. So, now if you want to be a part of the fun next year, now is the time! Let's book your party, and there is still plenty of room in the Stampin' Club for you! You won't want to miss the fun next year! Make your plans now to be there!

Scratch N Sniff

Sherri, my fabulous upline, hosted a group shoebox swap this month. What is a shoe box swap? Well let me explain...Generally when Stampin' Up! Demonstrators get together we "swap" cards. Meaning we make a bunch of the same kind of card and take them to trade with other demos who did the same thing, so you come home with lots of ideas only having to create one! It is fabulous and so much fun to see all the other cute ideas out there! Well, a Shoebox swap is about the same thing but MORE fun. Each demo designs her card, and then cuts all the paper and packs up all the supplies in a shoe box and brings it to the swap. We set up stations and then go around and MAKE all the cards! Swapping but better because we get to STAMP and chat and laugh together!

We had so much fun at this special event. I believe we had 20 of our group members there. Sherri, Heather and I each did a "WOW!" project. Sherri did a super cute Frankenstein card using the new Big Shot and punches, and Heather did some of her famous tiles. I did the Scratch N Sniff technique. I love it! Especially this time of year. Here is my Lovely as a Tree S-N-S card, the tree is scented like apple cider!

I will post more of the cards that were done later. They were all so adorable, but that many cards take some time to get scanned and saved.
Have a great day!

Wow! It has been a really busy week. My studio is in total disarray right now. I am in the process of moving furniture-desks, tables, and book cases into different arrangements and so everything of course has to be emptied off and, wow, talk about a mess!
So needless to say, I haven't been stamping in there much, except for our club projects we just finished this morning, I will have to post them later. I have to hook up my scanner again (my computer desk was part of the rearranging). ANYWAY, I wanted to share a project with you so I am introducing you to Bridget. Bridget is a member of my team "Ink N Things". She made this really cute explosion box for her daughters birthday pictures.

Isn't it adorable! Thanks so much Bridget for sharing it with me! Have a happy weekend! I hope you get some stamping done!
