Queens of the Stamp Age M&T Part 3

These 4 cards were made by Janice.

The first two are using the A Cardinal Christmas set from the Holiday Mini. I love the one on the left side. The leaves on the green are embossed with clear embossing powder. And, that Alpine Ribbon (also from the Holiday Mini) is just Luscious!!

These two card showcase Flight of the Butterfly. We (demonstrators) got this set FREE at Convention this past summer. I love this butterfly set. You can find it in the Big Idea Book & Catalog, and it is also one of the stamp sets in the Catalog Sampler that you can get FREE in October and November when you have a workshop (or catalog show) that is $350 or more in sales, it is a bonus to the already fantastic Hostess Benefits.

Check out my calendar on my Stampin' Up! website to find available workshop dates!

Queens of the Stamp Age M&T part 2

I don't know exactly which of the designers created the cards for today. There were 6 designers, Ashley, Sherri (part 1) Kaisa, Melanie, Mandy, and Janice. I just don't know who designed what after that.

The first set of cards is from the Holiday Mini catalog, Eat, Drink & Be Scary

The next two cards are also from the Holiday Mini: Mr. Twigster....isn't he cute?

Queens of the Stamp Age Annual Weekend Training Part 1

So, this past Friday and Saturday was the annual Queens of the Stamp Age group training offered by our fabulous, fearless leader, Brandi Barnard. She is just the best!

It all started Friday evening with a totally awesome Make & Take night. We got to make 24 totally awesome, cards! There were 6 designers who each provided 4 cards. There were about 50 of us in attendance. It was so much fun to see old friends, and make new ones! So lets start with 2 of my best friends, who were also designers for this fun night.

First up are cards from my great upline, Sherri. The first stamp she featured is A Happy Heart from the Holiday Mini.

Next she featured Halloween Frights also from the Holiday Mini.

Next up are 4 cards from my good friend Ashley. She featured Party Hearty, which just happens to be on sale this month at 20% off!

I am so sorry, I just realized my second Party Hearty card got left at my parents home! I was showing them off, and it apparently didn't make it back into my bag. Bummer. But, I bet you can see it on Ashley's Blog (which is fantastic by the way).

I want to show you one more card. This card was one of the swaps I got. It was made by Chirsty Casteel. I show you because it was made using the featured stamp set from this months Card Kit of the Month: Snow Swirled. There is still time to order this kit, so get it now while I have the set discounted!

I will post more of the cards we made at the M&T night tomorrow, and soon I will share pictures of the business portion of the meeting too!
If you are interested in attending this fun event next year, ask me about joining our group!

Getting a Jump on Christmas

Let's start this morning with a pretty Christmas card. I LOVE Christmas cards. Not only because I love the Christmas Season as a whole....don't people just seem nicer at Christmas?....but also because you "have" to use glitter! No Holiday card can go without BLING of some sort, in my opinion. So, this card used the Holiday Trinkets stamp set with the Verse from All Holidays. Cardstock colors are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Summer Sun. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Always Artichoke, Real Red, Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, and of course used Dazzling Diamonds and 2-way glue.

This card was one of my cards at my uplines group shoebox swap in September. It is super fast and even the kids can help with punching out the images.

Now, I am off to my Stamp Studio to work on my swaps for my UpUplines training in Logan this weekend. When I am done, I will show you what I have come up with!

Happy Stampin'!
